Like many of you, today I received a new missive from DLC HQ, the DCCC (or its twin the DSCC) entitled "Will the Earth Shatter on June 6th?" I replied to Exec. Director Karin Johanson:

On June 6th, all eyes will be on California's 50th Congressional District.
If Democrat Francine Busby wins the California special election on June 6th, her victory would send a shockwave through the political establishment.

We say...

The BIG race here in California on June 6th is not the 50th, it's the 36th. That's where Marcy Winograd will send Jane Harman into a long deserved early retirement. That shockwave out of California will definitely run through the political Establishment, the one that you and Rahm and Chuck work for. But I'm sure you already knew that. Anyone up for a debate? I didn't think so.
